The Señor de Villaseca is enshrined in a church on the outskirts of the city of Guanajuato. Retablos once covered some walls of the shrine but were removed in the late 1990s. Today offerings are made in a side chapel with stone walls and designated display areas. The offerings in the following selection include inscribed clothing, collages, votive texts, documents, and the first page of a notebook journal. Votaries also leave photographs of themselves in wall crevices, thereby extending their presence under the protection of the Señor de Villaseca.
